TRI-STAR TO HIGHLIGHT NEW PORTABRANDS CONCEPTS
Wednesday 23. March 2011 - Tri-Star Packaging is to showcase its new PortaBrands range of portable food and drink packaging on Stand C50 at the Pro2Pac packaging trade show, which takes place at Londons Excel from 13-16 March 2011.
The PortaBrands range, which was acquired by Tri-Star in September 2010, incorporates a wide selection of on-the-move food and drink packaging solutions, which have revolutionised the way in which people transport food and drink in a variety of environments.
PortaBrands products are particularly popular in the events management sector, where unique and pioneering drinks carriers such as the PortaDrink have transformed the experiences of millions of visitors to high profile sports and music events.
The PortaBrands range also includes the ground-breaking cartonboard PortaBottle wine carrier, which is renowned for being stronger and more reusable than any other bottle carrier on the market.
Visitors to Pro2Pac, which is the UKs only packaging show dedicated to the food and drink industry, will also have the opportunity to see Tri-Stars new range of innovative platters, designed to satisfy growing demand for premium quality solutions in the executive lunch market.
The platters have stylish black bases and high clarity dome lids, offering enhanced levels of presentation and functionality in a comprehensive range that satisfies a host of different requirements. There are four individual products, suitable for a wide range of foods, including sandwiches, fruit, cake, crudités, dips and tortilla wraps.
Tri-Star will be exhibiting at Pro2Pac alongside Veriplast Holland, with which it has recently formed a joint venture to supply food and drink packaging. The two companies will be working together to develop and distribute innovations for the food-to-go and packer processor markets.
Kevin Curran, Tri-Star Managing Director, said: “Were very excited to be displaying our new packaging ranges to visitors at Pro2Pac. With their strong focus on innovation and quality, were sure our latest packaging solutions will be a great source of inspiration and ideas to businesses from all parts of the food and beverage sector.”
He added: “Were also delighted to use the occasion of the show to announce our new joint venture with Veriplast Holland. Representatives of both companies will be on hand to discuss what our agreement to work together means for the market, and we look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand.”
