HERE COMES THE SUN WITH THE NEW BOOTS SOLTAN RANGE

Monday 21. March 2011 - M&H is delighted to have worked with Boots and award-winning packaging design specialists JKR on the development of their stunning new range of Soltan suncare products.

Boots commissioned M&H Plastics to create a bespoke range of bottles with overall brief to produce a contemporary but functional design with high shelf appeal. M&H created a range of four HDPE custom moulded bottles comprising a 200ml and 75ml Spray Pack, plus a 400ml and 200ml Tottle (upside down bottle).
The bottles are a gently curved shape and the project was technically demanding as the unusual shoulder profile of the bottle required meticulous development to ensure precise cap and bottle alignment. The whole range is brightly coloured in line with the suncare sector, and careful colour matching was essential in order to achieve the distinctive pearlescent opacity. .
M&H believes this new range of custom-designed bottles faithfully reflects the Soltan brand essence with outstanding shelf appeal.
Liz Binder of Boots said: ‘We wanted to create a range of products which were truly unique to Soltan. M&H worked closely with us to create an exclusive range of custom-designed bottles which totally reflect the Soltan identity.’
M&H has a full custom moulding service for exclusive designs and virtually everything is conducted in-house, on site – from concept design, through toolmaking, production, artwork and decoration.
