KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation Is Named as a Winner of the 2011 Progressive Manufacturing 100 Awards

Thursday 10. March 2011 - KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation (NYSE: KS) ("KapStone" or "the Company"), a leading North American producer of unbleached kraft paper products and linerboard, today reported that the Company was selected by Managing Automation Media, a Thomas Publishing Company, LLC, as the winner for data integration mastery for the PM100 Awards.

The PM100 recognizes projects that have achieved distinction in at least one of the eight core disciplines defined by Managing Automation Media as critical to business success in the years ahead.
The PM100 Winners will be honored and presented with their awards at the Manufacturing Leadership Summit 2011 on May 9 in Palm Beach, FL. More than 200 manufacturing technology executives are expected to attend.
