Aleyant Adds Variable QR Code Generator to eDoc Builder

Aleyant Systems, a leader in value-priced web-to-print solutions for the graphic communications industry, today announces that a variable QR Code generator as been added to eDoc Builder, a web-based variable data publishing (VDP) system. QR Codes are two dimensional barcodes that are popular in various print marketing campaigns. Users with a camera phone can scan QR Code images, which then opens a web page in the phone’s browser, connects to a wireless network, or displays text, such as the creator’s contact information or vcard. The variable QR Code generator can be merged with a database, and allows printers to personalize web-to-print campaigns for their customers.
