Digital Media Arts College Appoints Dr. Alan Stutts New President and CEO
Wednesday 23. February 2011 - Digital Media Arts College (DMAC), a private accredited arts school located in Boca Raton, Fla., today announced the appointment of Alan Stutts, Ph.D. as the colleges new president and CEO.
In his role, Stutts will oversee all administrative planning, including admissions, faculty and curriculum. He aims to further advance the colleges success through continually investing in technology, facilities and curriculum that reflect future trends, employing experienced and engaging faculty, and partnering with community leaders that employ the institutions graduates.
“The school has established a strong foundation in offering specialized graduate and post-graduate degrees in Computer Animation, Visual Effects and Graphic Design. I strongly believe in our mission to mold students creativity and artistic skills in an ever-changing industry and prepare them to pursue jobs in their area of interest,” says Stutts. “I am honored and pleased to have joined this family of talented faculty and students.”
Dr. Stutts has served as president of nationally accredited institutions of higher education in both Illinois and Minnesota since 2001, and held leadership positions in regionally-accredited higher education institutions in Texas and Nevada. He has also led curriculum teams for five colleges and universities in the United States as well as China, France and Mexico.
Stutts earned his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana and received both Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Arizona. He has authored four textbooks and multiple published articles on career and professional development.
