Lithrone G40 Debut: New Upgraded Model Added to Lithrone Series Will Ship in April 2011
Wednesday 02. February 2011 - Komori Corporation (Head Office: Sumida-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President, Chairman and CEO: Yoshiharu Komori) has developed a new upgraded model in the Komori Lithrone Series.
The new series Lithrone G40 incorporates many of the technologies, such as the feeding and delivery mechanism and many automated functions, that were developed for the Lithrone SX40, Komori’s flagship machine. The Lithrone G40 will be launched as a new upgraded model of the Lithrone Series. Shipments will start in April 2011.
Lithrone G40 Concept
The ‘G’ in Lithrone G40 connotes many qualities. First, it denotes a ‘Green Lithrone’ designed and built with consideration for the environment. Second, it connotes ‘grand’ or ‘great,’ signifying a high performance machine.
Komori’s Green Concept
Komori conceives of ‘green’ as meaning co-existence among many different things. It is not simply for people, for the company, or for nature. We believe that ‘green’ must entail a calm, bright future where these things co-exist and a mutual balance is maintained among them.
In Komori’s green concept, the three pillars of ‘green,’ ‘saving,’ and ‘safety’ support the new field of OffsetOnDemand, enable both an expansive production environment and shorter working time, are people friendly and boost company profit. We thus aim at manufacturing presses that both produce better printed materials and are environmentally friendly while being also good for the market and for society.
