Agfa is the Platinum sponsor of Digital Image South America 2011
Monday 15. November 2010 - Agfa was announced as the Platinum sponsor of Digital Image South America 2011. The event is the largest digital printing fair - encompassing on-demand printing, customization, transpromo, visual communication, premedia and screen printing - and will run from 27 to 30 April at the Blue Pavilion of Expo Center Norte, São Paulo.

Agfa has always been a company that followed us in our events and the closing of this sponsorship agreement is another sign of excellence for Digital Image, which has already established itself as the most important trade fair of the digital industry”, said Sandra Keese, Events Director of APS Eventos.
In recent years, Agfa has intensified its investment in the Brazilian graphic segment. The most emblematic fact of Agfa’s bet on Brazil was the inauguration of its digital plate factory in Suzano, São Paulo. The economic stability of Brazil, which has announced a growth estimate of 7% this year, as well as the growth of the digital segment inside the graphic market are other factors that make the company take great interest at Digital Image.
Also taking advantage of prosperous times for the economy, the fair organizers announced new features for the event. In its third edition, Digital Image has a 150% increase in area, totaling 14,700 m2. And now it also has more than 75% of its exhibition area sold.
