Postek Launches Thermal Transfer Printing in a Portable Model, the V6
Thursday 28. October 2010 - Postek Technologies will launch their new portable thermal transfer printer, the V6, to North and Latin America markets next week at both AIM Expo and PACK Expo in Chicago. The V6 shines with features that enhance user flexibility and convenience for mobile labeling.
Posteks CEO, Gaoren Lu, commented on the upcoming launch of the V6 at the Chicago tradeshows. “Our goal in product design is to address customer challenges. We found that many industries wanted the ability to input product information while in the field, for example, when a products form was not previously downloaded into the printer. We addressed this need in the V6 design, so no items are missed. I believe the V6 offers solutions for field labeling and will be very well received in the Americas.”
Not only is the capability to input asset tracking information on-the-spot a highlighted attribute of the V6, but the ability to print via thermal transfer or thermal direct methods give users a choice, a significant benefit when long lasting labels, created by thermal transfer printing, are required. And, with both print methods available in the V6, a users media options widen. Another noted advantage is the embedded real-time clock and calendar for ease of labeling products with expiration dates. The printers power supply, a 7.4 volt, 2200mAh Li-on battery, drives the lasting power to run all day making the V6 exceptional for demanding portable usage.
AIM Expo and PACK Expo show attendees are encouraged to visit Postek at AIM Expo, Booth 405, or at PACK Expo, Booth E-5520 to participate in V6 demonstrations, as well as demonstrations of Posteks compact, general purpose and industrial printer lines.
