CITO on its Travels. Today – Poland

Monday 18. October 2010 - In September our Application Engineer Roman Kaschitz, together with our Sales Manager Stefan Schöffel, visited our Polish agent Interas.

Together with Interas they held a seminar on die-cutting technology for customers from Smurfit Kappa based in Konin. Smurfit Kappa is the European leader in containerboard, solid board, corrugated and solid board packaging.

Roman Kaschitz and Stefan Schöffel gave extensive support and their main aim was to convey the importance of choosing the correct creasing parameters and their subsequent effect on the crease quality. The attendees showed great interest and participated actively in the discussions.

Particular importance was placed on specific questions raised concerning the complete packaging manufacturing set-up. Solutions for day-to-day production issues were presented and all questions answered. The particular importance of how crease quality influences further processing of packaging on the folding box gluing machine was emphasised.

All in all – and for all – another successful seminar.
