CSN840 Pallet Winner of SITL Best Innovation Award
Tuesday 05. October 2010 - The CSN840 Pallet wins Best Innovation Award at the SITL Europe Exhibition. This is the second innovation award for METTLER TOLEDO Cargoscan Dimensioning Solutions in recent years.

The CSN840 has made its mark as being the best of the best when it comes to automatic pallet measuring and its recent win at the SITL International Week of Transport and Logistics Fair is further confirmation. Out of 34 competition entries, Ludovic Talleux from Mettler-Toledo France proudly accepted the 1st place prize.
Winning Features
As the first fully approved pallet dimensioning, weighing and identification solution, the CSN840 can measure pallets of all shapes and surfaces. Some of its winning features include the XL version of the CSN840 capable of measuring pallets up to 2500 x 2500 x 2600 mm (L x W x H), image capture, taring – a function that separates the load from the pallet, and remote access.
Captured data can be wirelessly connected to a customers host computer system for manifesting and revenue protection. Additionally, a 3-4 second measuring time makes the system attractive for dynamic pallet handling systems.
The CSN840 enables a quick return on investment due to its high accuracy and throughput rate: 200 pallets per hour can be handled with a high level of reliability.
