Minotaur automate their photobook production
Thursday 22. July 2010 - As part of the Minotaur Groups continual investment strategy, they have signed a deal with Unibind Systems Ltd for the latest CaseMaker 750A and BCC10 binding machine.
This investment has been timed to coincide with the arrival of the latest HP Indigo 7000. With the group forecasting high volume photobook production, they needed a system, which could provide both consistent quality and volume.
Tsol Keoshgerian, Managing Director of Unibind Systems commented, Julian Marsh came to see the machine at IPEX and immediately saw the potential. This investment will allow him to remove the old fashioned labour intensive processes from his production line and concentrate on fulfilling volume demand.
The CaseMaker 750A can produce up to 400 personalised covers an hour, with the BCC10, also capable of binding 400 units an hour. Unibind, recently launched the CaseMaker 750A at IPEX, a departure from their traditional ethos of providing a finished product. Unibind have been an invisible brand for the last 35 years, but are now embarking on an innovative communication campaign to raise the awareness, of their well-engineered products.
Unibind are in the process of applying for a patent for their unique CasePlano, which is the key to the success of the CaseMaker. This innovative design combines FSC accreditation with solid engineering principles, to deliver an environmentally safe production process.
