Royal Wedding invitations printed on Munken

Friday 16. July 2010 - The Royal Court in Sweden recently selected Arctic Paper's design range, Munken, for the invitations and other printed items for their Royal Wedding in the Stockholm Cathedral in June.

In preparation for the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria and Mr. Daniel Westling, all the invitations were printed onto the design paper, Munken Pure, from Arctic Paper. The Court’s own profile manual formed the basis for the design with the cream shade of Munken Pure creating perfect harmony and balance with the printed colours. The invitations where finished with embossing and gold foil effects to add an extra dimension to the overall design.

For additional impact the Royal Court also selected, the high white design paper, Munken Polar, was used as an entry and response card to the actual wedding in the Stockholm Cathedral.

Arctic Paper Munkedals, the mill where Munken design paper is produced, is located in the centre of beautiful natural surroundings adjacent to the Gullmars Fjord in Bohuslän, Sweden. The mill is situated in a sensitive natural environment and Arctic Paper has a long tradition of certified environmental work at the mill. Today, Arctic Paper Munkedals is one of the foremost mills in the world with regard to low water usage and natural purification processes.
