Launch of Z-Evolution at Ipex in Birmingham
Tuesday 04. May 2010 - Ziegler Paper Mill has an innovative new product in store for its presentation at Ipex in Birmingham: Z-Evolution.
As a leading international exhibition for the printing industry, Ipex (staged this year from 18-25 May) represents an ideal platform for the introduction of this exciting new paper. Z-Evolution is the worlds first high-performance inkjet paper coated online on both sides that has been especially developed for use with drop-on-demand printing systems. At Ipex, it will be shown live in action on appropriate equipment from all major manufacturers of inkjet printing systems.
Ultra-white Z-Evolution is ideally suited for transpromotional and direct mail applications and for printing school textbooks. Thanks to its outstanding colour density and low strike-through, it is also the perfect choice in the lower weight ranges. Its innovative coating also makes it ideal for 4-colour offset printing and reduces ink consumption for inkjet applications by the immediate fixing of ink direct to the paper surface.
Z-Evolution is ready for further high-speed processing immediately after printing and enjoys excellent smear and water resistance. Its ultra-white shade ensures strong contrasts and excellent reproduction of photo-realistic images making it a perfect partner for all advertising and printing applications.
Although it has only recently gone into large-scale production, customer interest in Z-Evolution is already running very high and a large volume of orders have already been received for this new specialty paper.
