Hexion Specialty Chemicals To Raise Prices For Cardura, ACE, VeoVa and Versatic Acid Products

Friday 23. April 2010 - Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc., announced today that it will increase the prices of its CARDURA glycidyl ester, ACE hydroxyl acrylate monomer, VEOVA monomers and VERSATIC acids globally effective May 15, 2010 or as contract terms allow.

Prices for all grades of these products will increase by 250 Euro/mt or 300 USD/mt (equaling 14 cents per pound).

This price increase is necessary due to continued and further accelerated increases of raw material costs and is supported by growing marketplace demand.
