Institute for Graphics and Imaging Half-Day Training Session to Review Best Practices for Preparing Digital Files
Friday 21. August 2009 - The Institute for Graphics and Imaging (IGI)an education and training organization funded by and dedicated to the printing and graphic arts industryhas scheduled a half-day review of best practices for preparing digital files.
The course is scheduled for the morning of September 17, 2009. The review will be conducted by James Wamser, Senior Training Specialist at Sells Printing Company. Wamser is an Adobe Certified Instructor Print Specialist, with more than 16 years experience in the graphic arts. The review is appropriate for production managers, prepress personnel, and creative professionals. Tuition for the review is $99. Discussing the digital file review, IGI Executive Director Ron Dahl commented: “James Wamser is eminently qualified to teach this course, in a subject he deals with daily. The course is being presented the day after PRINT 09 in Chicago closes, enabling students to coordinate travel with the show and reduce travel expenses.”
