SATO CORPORATION APPOINTS NEW EXECUTIVE OFFICERS
Friday 07. August 2009 - SATO, a pioneer in the Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) industry and a leader in barcode printing, labelling, and EPC/RFID solutions announced the appointment of Mike Fowler, Brian Lang and Lim Yee as Executive Officers of SATO Corporation with effect from July 24, 2009.
As part of SATO Groups worldwide re-organisation initiative, SATO Corporation has established 4 business units worldwide as regional headquarters – Japan, Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific – to continue its international expansion and growth. The 4 business units will each assume responsibility for sales and profitability to help achieve the corporate goals. In line with the new direction, 3 regional heads for the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific have been appointed as Executive Officers of SATO Corporation to form the regional sales management leadership team.
Mike Fowler is currently the President of SATO International America, Inc., the regional headquarters for the Americas.
Brian Lang has recently been appointed as the new Managing Director of SATO International Europe N.V.
Lim Yee is currently the Managing Director of SATO International Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., regional headquarters overseeing Asia and Oceanic regions.
