TheAlternativePress.com, New Jerseys all-online daily hyperlocal newspaper, today launched a financial news section covering local, state, national and international financial news, becoming the first all-online daily hyperlocal newspaper to offer such coverage. R. Seelaus & Co., a financial services firm in Summit, New Jersey, is sponsoring the section. TheAlternativePress.com currently covers local news and information in Berkeley Heights, Chatham Borough, Chatham Township, Livingston, Madison, Millburn/Short Hills, New Providence, Summit, and Westfield.
Since its launch in October, TheAlternativePress.com has received more than 15 million hits. The site had over 75,000 unique users in July alone. Readership has more than tripled since March. According to Alexa.com, The Alternative Press has significantly increased its ranking among the worlds websites.
