Institute for Graphics and Imaging Names Board Officers and New Directors

Wednesday 05. August 2009 - The Institute for Graphics and Imaging (IGI)—an education and training organization funded by and dedicated to the printing and graphic arts industry—has named the officers of its Board of Directors for the coming year.

Elected at a recent meeting, after serving previously as directors, were:
· President—Tim Burton, President, Burton & Mayer
· Vice President—Joel Quadracci, President and CEO, Quad/Graphics
· Treasurer—Mark Kannenberg, President, RBP Chemical Technology
· Secretary—Ron Bertieri, President and COO, Friction Stir Link

Recent additions to the IGI Board of Directors include Fuzzy S. Marek, CEO, The Marek Group, and Craig Faust, President and CEO, HGI Company.

IGI Board members serving continuing terms include Jim Dwyer, Chair, Waukesha County Board; Shelly Harkins, Business Finance Specialist, Wisconsin Department of Commerce; Ed Kelley, Member Waukesha County Technical College Foundation; Niall Power (ex oficio), President, Printing Industries of Wisconsin; Barbara Prindiville, President, Waukesha County Technical College; Cary Tessmann (ex oficio), Chief Financial Officer, Waukesha County Technical College; and Dan Vrakas, Waukesha County Executive

Commenting on the election, IGI Executive Director Ron Dahl said: “IGI is fortunate indeed to be guided by a distinguished Board of Directors. Their dedication to IGI is deeply appreciated.”
