The Cryovac BLR2C fully automatic, high-speed robotic bag loader is suitable for placing a wide spectrum of hard cheese products into Cryovac shrink bags. Designed to meet the highest requirements for efficiency and quality, achieving a rate of up to 20 packages per minute, depending on product size. Thanks to the automatic bag picking, transfer and loading by the robotic arm, only one operator is required for supervising. The Cryovac BLR2C demonstrates robust, high-quality build standards, integrating food production approved materials throughout. Cleaning is easy thanks to the ability to remove all belts without the use of tools, while simple maintenance constituted an intrinsic part of the design brief.

Applications

Hard cheese products with a maximum weight of 20 kg, in sizes ranging from 170-700 mm (length), 105-380 mm (width) and 40-115 mm (height) can be loaded using the Cryovac BLR2C. This range includes the standard Euroblock cuts of packaged cheese. Two bag presenters allow for the filling of two different bag sizes or bags with two different print designs. Consistent bag positioning prevents seal area contamination and versatile tooling facilitates bag opening reliability.The packing conveyor fingers have a fixed height (non-dipping) and the width of the packing conveyor is variable to accommodate different product dimensions.

Equipment

The standard offer of the Cryovac BLR2C comes without infeed or outfeed, allowing smooth, customisable integration into current packaging line layouts. It comes in four different versions to ease in-plant assimilation – product flow from left to right or right to left, with a choice of positioning of the operator’s touchscreen panel at the infeed or outfeed in either variation. This loader is also compatible with PakFormance, a brand new hardware and software network solution for monitoring and optimising line performance.
