ZenPrint Named to the 2009 “Top 25 Under Five” by the Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum
Friday 10. July 2009 - ZenPrint was named today as a winner in the Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum (UVEF) annual Top 25 Under Five Awards. Recipients of the award were evaluated in terms of revenue growth and job creation, with ZenPrint placing No. 9 on this year's list. UVEF's Top 25 Under Five recognizes emerging companies in the state of Utah that are less than five years old.
“We have flown under the radar for the last couple of years, so it’s exciting to receive this kind of recognition,” says JD Gardner, Founder and CEO of ZenPrint. “Our team has been heads down building a web-to-print platform with the potential to change the marketplace. Being named to the Top 25 Under Five validates our efforts.”
ZenPrint’s tools help entrepreneurs build online businesses. Traditionally, entrepreneurs who want to set up an e-commerce site have the following options: use an out-of-the-box solution like Yahoo! stores or Café Press, find a developer to custom build it, or try to build it themselves. These solutions each have drawbacks related to cost, time, effectiveness and overall look-and-feel of the site. In just a few years, ZenPrint has built a web-to-print solution that addresses these problems and enables entrepreneurs to easily setup and manage branded, professional e-commerce sites. In addition, ZenPrint seamlessly fulfills any print, apparel or promotional products sold through these hosted sites on behalf of the site’s owner.
Zenprint made the list alongside a number of other high-growth Utah companies, namely ZAGG, Imagine Learning, OrangeSoda, InsideSales.com, and Allegiance.
