ProximityPrint Q is a secure print management solution designed to reduce waste, track printer output and increase security.
ProximityPrint Q helps companies cut costs and go green by reducing waste associated with abandoned printouts. The system is composed of a physical device and server software and boasts RFID technology for smart card authentication. Print jobs are securely held in the server until user authentication at the device. In addition, security is enhanced by ensuring no document is accessed by a person other than the intended recipient. Follow me printing is also included which allows users to pick up their print job at any printer regardless of where it was intended to be printed.
PPQ works with any printer, a wide range of copy machines and supports any printer driver. Print management is simple with an easy to use web interface. Reporting tools for print accountability allow activities to be monitored therefore reducing the amount of personal printing.
