Guaranteed PDF Courier Service Answers the Problem of Sending Documents by Email
Monday 06. July 2009 - Amyuni Technologies, a leading vendor of high-performance PDF products announces the release of PDF Courier, a new service that provides the secure and guaranteed delivery of messages and documents.
“With the huge increase in SPAM, many emails and documents never make it to their intended destinations, either because they were blocked or recipients deliberately overlooked them. In addition, many “read-receipt” functionalities included in email applications are simply ignored by recipients, leaving the sender guessing as to whether their important documents were ever read,” said Amyuni President/CTO Dany Amiouny.
There are a number of products and services on the market that offer file sending and tracking capabilities, however this is where PDF Courier differs. PDF Courier is the only file sending service that enables senders to automatically convert document attachments into a reliable PDF format.
“The PDF Courier service is built on our flagship PDF conversion technology. It provides users with the means to send messages and documents in a secure PDF format via a guaranteed delivery system,” said Dany.
Features Include:
Guaranteed Delivery: Bypass spam filters and other software limitations to ensure that important documents and messages are delivered to recipients.
Automatic PDF Conversion: Compress and secure documents to reduce their size and ensure that information cannot be modified. Conversion also ensures that information displays and prints exactly as it was intended (presentation integrity).
Tracking: Know that your messages are received with real-time status notifications and online tracking.
Send Large Files: Transfer and store large files via PDF Courier and avoid the size limitations imposed by many email service providers.
Preview: Quickly preview your sent and stored documents online, without the need to download them.
There are three methods users can send messages and documents with PDF Courier: as an Outlook plug-in, an online Web service, or as a standalone application. They all offer the convenience of automatically converting documents to PDF (securely on their local systems) and then uploading them to their PDF Courier account.
Recipients do need to install any software to take advantage of this service. They receive a link to PDF Courier which initiates the message download. The PDF Courier system detects and records this action and notifies the status of the message to the sender. Tracking the download status of multiple recipients is also possible.
“The benefits of sending a document in PDF format are clear: security, compressed file size, and presentation integrity. Weve combined the convenience of automatic PDF conversion technologies with secure uploading and tracking capabilities,” said PDF Courier Product Manager Joanna Khoury.
