Nuova Castagnoli S.r.l. takes the activities of GIDUE S.p.A.

Saturday 04. July 2009 - As previously announced in January 2009, Nuova Castagnoli, a producer of printing and converting machines for the label and packaging industry, proposed to GIDUE S.p.A. in Liquidazione to take the activities of GIDUE S.p.A.

The proposal was subject to procedures which involved several legal authorities (Liquidators, Trade Unions, Court) and a certain time (6 months). Nuova Castagnoli S.r.l. announces that from the 18th of June 2009 the company is legally entitled, with the agreement of all the parties involved, to entirely use the brand, the website, the know how, the patents, the existing distribution contracts, and to hire part of the work force of GIDUE S.p.A.
Nuova Castagnoli S.r.l., based on these agreements will sell and manufacture the entire former GIDUE product line (Combat, Xpannd, Athena) and provide service to the over 320 GIDUE press installations worldwide.
