TRICORBRAUN INTRODUCES NEW TWO-PIECE CLOSURE TO U.S.

Friday 12. June 2009 - TricorBraun has turned the U.S. closure market upside down with a new two-piece valve.

The two-piece TricorBraun closure features a valve and retention ring that are co-injected molded of polypropylene and differ from the conventional design that includes a closure, valve and retention ring.

The valve can be manufactured from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) in order to contain condiments or personal care products, according to Drew Williams, TricorBraun’s vice president strategic markets.
