REDLIN PRINT ACQUIRES THE HACKNEY PRESS
Wednesday 10. June 2009 - Redlin is delighted to announce that as of today, Redlin and Hackney Press have taken the decision to merge its two businesses and operate as one.
The combined company will operate under the Redlin name out of the facilities in Essex.
Although Redlin and Hackney have separate histories, there is a great deal of synergy between how the two companies operate – both work to ensure absolute customer satisfaction with its print solutions, both offer litho and digital printing services and both are committed to reducing the impact print has on the environment. However, with the print market changing and the high cost of the ongoing investment required in skills and equipment, this merger will help to ensure the sustainability and long term growth of the combined company.
Commenting on the merger, Steve Sobey, from Hackney Press says: “We are delighted with this business agreement as it will enable us to grow and continue to deliver high quality print products and services that meet our customers needs now and in the future”.
Nick Faint, MD Redlin, adds “In the meantime, we would like to welcome Hackney Press customers and employees to Redlin and promise to work hard to earn their loyalty and support.”
The integration process is due to take place over the next month and we will work closely with our customers, suppliers and employees to make sure that we maintain the same high service levels our customers expect.
