IGH Solutions Introduces PVC-Free Lenticular Cards

IGH Solutions announced today the introduction of the world’s first PVC-free lenticular gift card constructed from APET, a plastic usually used in the manufacturing of water and soft drink bottles.
The new card construction provides exceptionally deep 3-D and lenticular effects yet utilizes no PVC in its construction. Several large retailers and card-issuers have committed to reducing or eliminating the use of PVC — which critics claim has harmful effects on the environment.
The APET lenticular card is an ideal alternative to traditional lenticular cards which use a combination of a PVC lenticular lens with a PVC backing. In comparison to PVC, no DEPH plasticizers or harmful phthalates are used in the production of APET. In addition, less energy is required to manufacture APET in comparison to PVC.
