Escenic Geo-code plug-in 1.0-3
Tuesday 28. April 2009 - The Geo-code plug-in provides a convenient way to the users of Escenic content studio to geo-tag their articles.
The plug-in is presented as a new field textPanel plug-in editor in article editor. The GUI of the plug-in allows users to ask for any locations in the world and associate its Geo-information i.e. Latitude, longitude,address etc. to the article so later these tagged articles can be searched on the basis of address e.g. City, state or countries and Geo-information i.e. Latitude and longitude.
The Geo-information about the article is saved as an XML in the Escenic database so that it can be parsed and used for different purposes e.g. Plotting the articles on maps etc.
This is the first official release of the Escenic Geo-code plug-in.
