Prohibition Beverages Acquires The p.i.n.k. Spirits Company

Friday 24. April 2009 - Prohibition Beverage, Inc. officially announced today its acquisition of The p.i.n.k. Spirits Company (d/b/a/ High Energy Holdings).

Founded in 2006, p.i.n.k. Spirits is the world’s first producer of ultra-premium caffeine and guarana infused vodka. Its flagship product, the award-winning p.i.n.k. Vodka, has been noted as one of the most successful new vodka launches in history, leading the market in caffeinated spirits.

p.i.n.k. Vodka is currently distributed in 41 states and five countries. The p.i.n.k. Spirits Company was awarded the prestigious 2008 and 2009 “Rising Star” Growth Brand Awards by the Beverage Information Group, was chosen as one of the “Top 50 Spirits” and one of “The 12 Most Fascinating Vodkas” by Wine Enthusiast Magazine, and swept the Beverage Dynamics Marketing and Promotions Awards in 2006, 2007, and 2008 by taking home a combined 23 top awards. p.i.n.k. Vodka also received a 90-95 Superb Rating from Paul Pacult and took home five medals at the 2008 San Francisco Spirits Competition for the quality of p.i.n.k. Vodka, and its new additions – – p.i.n.k. Tequila, rum, white whiskey, sake and gin.

Financing for the transaction was provided by Renegade Capital LP (Houston, TX) in support of Prohibition Beverage, Inc. Investment Bank Houlihan Lokey provided transaction assistance to The p.i.n.k. Spirits Company.
