Technotrans: Ad hoc: Ruling in patent dispute

Wednesday 22. April 2009 - The Federal Supreme Court ruled in the final instance on the revocation action (reference No.: X ZR 153/04) on the lawsuit which has been pending for several years concerning the accusation of infringement of the patent EP 0 602 312 of Baldwin GmbH.

The patent being disputed was upheld although only to a limited extent by the court. The Federal Supreme Court must now decide whether to permit an appeal in the infringement proceedings. That decision will determine whether the currently suspended compensation proceedings will be reopened by the Düsseldorf district court.
