IFRA in cooperation with the Society for News Design (SND: www.snd.org), the world leader in the area of newspaper design, will organise an international conference dedicated to design for newspapers and magazines on 28 May 2009 in Paris (www.ifra.com/designconference). This event will be a unique occasion to analyse the trends in multi-platform information design.
In an increasingly competitive environment, it becomes essential to make content available at all times and in all places via print, the web or the mobile. Consequently, the question arises about how to stand out from the competition by offering your readers, Internet or mobile users a graphic design that is both unique to your brand and inviting.
The following conference topics are included:
– Storytelling in a multiplatform media world,
– Illustrations transition – from 2D to 4D,
– Small country, great design – the change of the newspaper design in Luxembourg,

Participation, registration and information
The conference will take place at the French newspaper Le Monde (Auditorium) in Paris 13e.
Participation fees:
– EUR 650 + VAT for IFRA or SND members (early bird rate until 24 April: EUR 590 + VAT),
– EUR 850 + VAT for non members (early bird rate until 24 April: EUR 790 + VAT).
Third registration from same company free of charge.
The fees include conference attendance, refreshments, lunch and translations into English and French.
