Tweets On TricorBraun’s Twitter Keep The Trade In Touch

Wednesday 08. April 2009 - TricorBraun has begun to encourage electronic discussion about rigid packaging among its customers, suppliers and staff through a Twitter account.

Twitter is a new social networking service that allows individuals to use the Internet to exchange informal messages of 140 characters in length—called “tweets.”

TricorBraun’s Twitter site can be accessed at www.twitter.com/tricorbraun.

Twitter is a companion to the TricorBraun blog, which provides readers with in-depth insight about an array of packaging issues. The blog can be found at http://www.tricorbraun.com/learn-packaging/packaging-blog/.

In late 2008, TricorBraun launched a new Web site, which was designed to serve as both an educational and purchasing resource for rigid packaging. “The addition of Twitter provides another conduit to communicate, quickly and inexpensively, with others in the dynamic field of the packaging industry,” according to Suzie Fenton, director of marketing, TricorBraun.

TricorBraun is one of the world’s leading suppliers of rigid packaging, and it has 33 offices in the United States, Canada and Asia.
