Escenic Content Engine 5.1

Friday 27. March 2009 - Advanced version control, RESTful web services and migration tools.

Highlights in this release are:

Advanced version and revision control for all content types (text, images, audio, video, etc)
Externalized RESTful web services for all normal content management features (all communication between Escenic Content Studio and Escenic Content Engine is REST).
Updated Java API with improved documentation
Plugin Java API for extending the standard functionality with custom modules
Migration tools for upgrading from 4.X
Major revisions and improvements to all PDF guides, both for users and developers – as well as some new guides: Syndication Reference, Property Reference and Advanced Developer Guide.
Escenic Content Engine 5.1 will be released in Q2 2009.
