R&D Integrated Solutions in Plastics: Continued Investment into the Growth of Plastic Solutions – Opens a new Product Solutions Lab (PSL)
Tuesday 10. March 2009 - Effective immediately, R&D Integrated Solutions in Plastics, a value added, full service plastic solutions company, has opened its new Product Solutions Lab (The PSL) in its United Kingdom location.
According to Alan Tolley, Managing Director, at R&D, The PSL capability is the latest in a series of expansions and enhancements designed to benefit converters and brand owners throughout the UK and EU and further extends the expansion of the – Leverage, Integrated Industrial Design -component which offers full service consumer packaging design from the US, through its UK facility as well.
“Today, R&D represents a complete product solutions package,” said Tolley. “Working in partnership with our customers, we provide the sales, technical, manufacturing and after sales support required in the present hugely competitive marketplace environment.”
A particularly appealing benefit of the companys new Product Solutions Lab, Tolley explained, is R&Ds ability to provide customers with in-house training modules. “And, with the capability to provide first-to-market samples, we can now qualify almost any product including extreme shapes and extreme specifications in-house. We can now provide the complete package,” Tolley said.

Over the last two years, the R&D facility in the UK has doubled in size.
