SERAC exhibits its expertise at Anuga 2009
Friday 06. March 2009 - At Anuga FoodTec 2009, Serac chose to illustrate its expertise in dairy product filling by exhibiting an ESL (Extended Shelf Life) line and Novas Neo machine.
Dedicated to ultra clean packaging of drinking yoghourts in PET bottles , the ESL line reaches rates of 10.000 bottles/hour (1 liter). In its complete configuration, such as it is exhibited at Anuga 2009, this machine integrates the treatment of the bottles with peracetic acid, the rinsing with filtered water, an ultra clean bottle-filling machine equipped with magnetically-controlled nozzles as well as a screw capping machine with a transfer-by-the neck system. The magnetically-controlled nozzles gives to the ESL line a very high versatility for the use of a wide product range. Another of its key features lies in the fact that it also integrates a system for the sanitation and disinfection of the circuits. Thanks to its total mastering of this aseptic filling technology, Serac proposes a solution, which makes it possible to maintain the shelf life of fermented products up to 60 days in the cold chain.
Also exhibited at Anuga 2009, the NEO machine of Nova illustrates a unique expertise in the dosing of difficult products (thick, pasty, with pieces or multi-layer). This indexed rotary machine is able to fill up cups with a broad range of products: double-layer products, caramel custard, yoghourts, cream desserts, oeufs à la neige, or rice pudding. According to the formats, its output ranges from 1500 to 7500 cups per hour. The Neo machine is presented in a mono track configuration (exists also in double track) with several functions: cups dispense, filling, pre-cut aluminium foil dispense, heatsealing, date coding, eject on conveyor.
Another exclusive know-how of Nova is the system used to maintain the foil in place until welding, so as to have a perfect positioning on the cup. Machine NEO also offers a simplified design for a reduced maintenance and easy and rapid format changes.
