Product Ventures Brings Award-Winning Designs to International Delights Coffee Creamer Container As It Debuts on Supermarket Shelves Across the Country

March 2009 - Product Ventures, a renowned structural innovation agency located in Fairfield County, CT is pleased to announce that their recent work with International Delight coffee creamer has been chosen to receive the 2009 AmeriStar Award in support of excellence in overall package design and functionality.
Product Ventures, brought in by WhiteWave, a subsidiary of Dean Foods, worked directly with the consumer to address problems with the production and functional issues of the coffee creamer.
Product Ventures insights team conducted extensive research to evaluate the category and determine consumers wants and needs associated with functionality and aesthetics, while the agencys design and engineering teams transformed the consumers thoughts into reality. Product Ventures visually positioned International Delight with a more European, sleek new design, while strategically keeping the brands message of continued pleasure and enjoyment.
The new package is elegant, iconic and functionally superior to its leading competitor. The CAD engineering for the closure and bottle were done by Product Ventures, with close collaboration with Seaquist and Graham. “We are proud that the Institute of Packaging Professionals has recognized our efforts with International Delight in reshaping the coffee creamer container and bringing it to the next level in its sophisticated and upscale design,” states Product Ventures CEO, Peter Clarke. Both Product Ventures and WhiteWave will be presented with the 2009 AmeriStar Award in Chicago at the IoPP Packaging Summit May 19-20, 2009.
