Manugraph DGM Introduces New Single-Wide Press
Wednesday 04. March 2009 - Manugraph DGM, Inc. (MDGM) introduces the new HiLine Express, a 45,000 impressions per hour single-wide press with a maximum web width of 36 inches (914mm), built for both the newspaper and commercial publication printers.
“The HiLine Express features three (3) ink form rollers and three (3) oscillators”, says Dave Moreland, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “This is the same print technology of our DGM 440 press. This commercial ink train design reduces dot gain, minimizes ghosting and maximizes print contrast and solid density performance”.
Each print tower of the HiLine Express also features a ten (10) roller inking train, and is designed with a two roller spray dampening system, tool-less plate lockup, web break detectors and remote-controlled motorized lateral and circumferential registration systems.
Optional features for the HiLine Express include: close loop registration and cut-off control; ManuColor remote ink zone control system; CIP4 Interface for ManuColor; shaftless draw roller module; ink leveling and replenishing system for all ducts; shaftless AC drive and shaftless for tower (4 motors per tower).
The HiLine Express is equipped with the DGM 1240 folder, Manugraph DGMs 1:2:2 automated design folder. Available in four (4) cutoff lengths, the DGM 1240 folder features push button changeover and on-the-run lap adjustment. The DGM 1240 has a top rated speed of 50,000 copies per hour and a maximum web width of 36″ (914mm).
Debut information about the HiLine Express will be available at MDGMs 2009 MediaExchange Booth #2301 in Las Vegas, March 9-11.
