At Grafitalia uviterno ag is exhibiting two UV radiation heads. The SRK-A4, is an air-cooled raditation head, and the SRK-B4, a combined air-/water-cooled radiation head, both designed to meet the requirements of rotative as well as intermittent narrow web printing machines with a print width up to 21″. Both the enhanced lamp and reflector geometry and the protective quartz plate with new high-tech coating (WSF-T1) form part of the standard equipment. The heat-absorbing filter (WSF-T2) contributes to reducing the temperature of the substrate. The transmission efficiency of the UV dose is also improved thanks to this specialcoating technology.
The electronical power supplies PHASER 8digital as well as the UVC-Controller offering pluggable bus connection device, integrated PLC (programmable logic controller) for triggering all relevant functions of the uviterno-UV radiation heads. Communication of single UVC-Controllers for multi-UV-systems as well as CE- and UL-conformity provide a real advantage in 6-12 kw range of performance. In comparison to regular EPS (electronic power supplies) the solid construction allows the implemention of multi-UV-systems by saving space.
