FIDIA MACCHINE GRAFICHE SRL: CREATIVITY FOR THE PRINT FINISHER
Monday 02. March 2009 - At Grafitalia 2009, FIDIA MACCHINE GRAFICHE S.r.l., will re-affirm its high position amongst the worlds specialist manufacturers of creasing-folding and gluing machines.
FIDIA will present some innovative NEW equipment, (sure to alter the world of specialist finishing and bookbinding) as well as some of its tried and tested machines.
The machines on demonstration will be:
– Nimbo: is a folding and gluing machine designed for a while variety of two and three dimensional items. With the rising pile feed table it can work with paper from 120 to 400 gsm. Some product are pocket wallets, special envelopes, book covers with flaps, flexible Dutch book covers, office folders, capacity folders, etc.
– Desta: has been designed for the production of: presentation folders with document pockets, special envelopes, magazines and book covers, air ticket wallets, cd and dvd wallets with one or two pockets, etc. Then thanks to its letterpress scoring recto verso, with the Desta machine it is also possible to work with many paper and board stocks in short or long grain direction and generally speaking any difficult stock.
– Eletta: the fore edge trimming machine Eletta is positioned offline and inline on the binding line, before the three knife trimmer. The book covers are opened horizontally with suction cups. It is registered at the stop clamp position and trimmed using an oblique scissor movement. Due to the simplicity of the machine a wide variety of work can be undertaken, i.e. stitched and erfect bound books, magazines, etc.
