Escenic Category 1.2-12 released

Monday 16. February 2009 - Escenic is pleased to announce that the Escenic Category 1.2-12 release is now available for download at Escenic Technet.

This version only works for Escenic Content Engine 4.3-3 and later releases. If you are using an earlier 4.3 release, please contact Escenic Tech Support.

Category and Taxonomy is an Escenic plugin for content classification. It mixes the flexibility of keywords with the structure of file system folders. The module supports an unlimited number of category trees, where each tree is a categorization hierarchy. Structurally, a category hierarchy is similar to a file system folder structure, with the exception that a single category may belong several places in the hierarchy. Categories are intended used in addition to the standard ‘section’ mechanism in Escenic.
