IFRAs 4th XMA competition highlights exceptional cross-media branding and design
Monday 09. February 2009 - IFRA XMA Cross Media Awards 2009 in cooperation with the Society for News Design
The IFRA XMA Cross Media Awards 2009 distinguish publishing houses with a challenging and outstanding design that communicate their brand in a clear, distinct way and through different channels (i.e. print, online and mobile). Interested media houses can register at the website www.ifra.com/xma. Final date for the registration, which starts on 1 March, is 29 May 2009.
“The media world has changed dramatically. More content in more formats, distributed on more platforms and on more channels, lends itself to exposing audiences to an overwhelming jungle of different brands. Brand recognition of media houses becomes crucially important in order to distinguish ones own brand and what it stands for”, says Dr. Dietmar Schantin, one of IFRAs XMA Project Leaders.
For the first time, the IFRA XMA Awards are a co-production with the Society for News Design (SND: www.snd.org). The objective of the 4th XMA Cross Media Awards is to present the best examples of design in newspapers that combine different print and digital channels to get their brand across.
The IFRA XMA Cross Media Awards 2009 competition is sponsored by Adobe and supported by Protec.
