DTIs Global Growth Continues in Eastern Europe

Digital Technology International (DTI) has today announced that Delo d d, Ljubljana, Slovenia, has ordered a 350-user DTI ContentPublisher solution.
Delo (meaning ‘Labour’) is a major Slovene national daily newspaper.

The DTI ContentPublisher solution is based on the Caché high-performance multidimensional database that is able to manage and store text, photos, graphics and sound files. It includes DTI applications for newspaper-unique needs such as wire, remote reporter and contributor input. DTI has also adapted and seamlessly integrated Adobe applications such as InCopy for reporter input, InDesign for design and pagination, and Dreamweaver for Website creation.

According to Ernst-J. Komberg, managing director of DTI GmbH, Germany, the installation at Delo further reinforces DTIs leadership in the region where already four of the five newspapers in neighbouring Croatia are using DTI solutions. The DTI solution at Delo, which replaces an in-house developed system, is scheduled to go-live in the second quarter of 2009.
While many newspaper and vendor companies are laying-off staff, DTI is currently hiring more people in order to support its continually growing media customer base.
