ECRM Offers a Comprehensive Solution to Search and Analyze Private Label Ads
Wednesday 04. February 2009 - ECRM(R) has significantly advanced their ad tracking software, Ad Comparisons, by adding major search and reporting enhancements such as the new Private Label Index reports.
ECRM’s Private Label Index reports show how much private label advertising exists in the HBC, grocery and general merchandise categories. Retail users can see their emphasis on private label products in comparison to other retailers, while also further refining their searches to view products by store level or category level. Manufacturers can also use the tool to see how their brand compares to private label brands.
“Growing private label is a hot initiative right now. Many retailers are interested in further developing their private label category, but are unsure how to actually do it because they can’t put themselves in an index. Figuring out where you stand is an important factor to determine your next steps, and using these reports allow users to easily see how they rank,” said Scott Whalley, Director of Ad Comparisons. “The reports are unique because it is the first program of its kind that analyzes this type of data. Private label reports are part of ECRM’s Ad Comparisons program, a component of MarketGate(TM) Application Suite software. Ad Comparisons features more than 8 million ads from 108 retail chains in more than 60 US and Canadian markets. In addition to private label searches, other searching capabilities include: quick search, executive search, custom search and 18 ‘best practice’ Platinum reports.
