Constantia Flexibles is the winner of Best Innovator Award 2008

Tuesday 23. December 2008 - The competition Best Innovator awards a price to a successful and sustainable innovation management. Constantia Flexibles is the winner in the category "Innovation organisation & Culture".

The Best Innovator has in recent years found a lot of resonance both in Austrian companies and in the political environment and is carried out under the patronage of the Austrian Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Labour, Martin Bartenstein. At the Best Innovator Competition, A.T. Kearney and the daily newspaper “Die Presse” award prices to companies that set standards in innovation management.

Innovations are the basis for success. We already participated in the competition in 2005 and are extremely happy to have won this year in the individual category of “Innovation organisation & Culture”. This shows that our house has set up an open and structured platform for customers, employees and suppliers, which requires the creation of ideas and paves the way towards an innovation that is fit for the market.
Unlike the many other innovation prices we succeeded in winning in recent years, no individual products or performances are awarded with the “Best Innovator” but the company as a whole. In our case, it was the way we deal with the issue of innovation, as well as the open innovation culture, which dominates in our house and, in this form, is also supported by the Management.
Our endeavours to further develop the innovation management have already proven manifold to be profitable for us and our customers on the market, as the products Drinklid, Chocomel Hot, Tassimo, Low Seal Lidding, Wrapstar, Security Foil, the animal head alu foil container and many more have shown.
We expect from our innovation organisation & culture also in the upcoming years further market-penetrating innovations and we are already today looking forward to developing them jointly with our customers.
