Scheufelen announces price increases

Friday 19. December 2008 - With effect from 1st January 2009, the Papierfabrik Scheufelen, Lenningen, will increase its prices - resulting in a price rise of around 8 percent for all company brands.

Production curtailment in December will adjust supply and demand during that period. Although Scheufelen had to file for insolvency in July 2008, the company looks into the future with optimism. The segment of premium papers alone grew by more than 20% in 2008.
