Saati establishes new manufacturing line in China
Wednesday 10. December 2008 - Saati is a multi-national Italian company manufacturing hi-tech synthetic precision fabrics and chemicals for industrial use. Main applications are in screen-printing, filtration, ballistic protection and composites. Over 800 employees are globally located in the USA, China, Brazil, India, France, Germany and Spain.
Saati Group on October 20th, 2008 celebrated its 10th year anniversary in the Chinese market by announcing a new financial and production facility in Tianjin.
The facility, located in the Italian Industrial Park, will serve as corporate offices and be responsible for the sales, service and support of Saati Groups products. In addition, the facility will house manufacturing lines for fabric imported from Italy and chemical production.
The announcement is another step in Saati Groups strategic business initiatives to meet the demands of a global economy and the growth potential of the China and Asian markets in particular. The new Business Unit represents a continuation of Saati prosperity in China.
Alberto Novarese, Saatis President, underlined the importance of the Chinese market for the Saati Group. He thanked over 100 local employees for their contribution to the significant success. Later, he recognized local and embassy authorities for their continuous cooperation.
Attendees at the ceremonial groundbreaking included Saati Spa executives and local officials: Ms. Yin Fuxia, country manager, Mr.Yang Lingsheng, Vice-President of Xiqing district, Mr Guiseppe Rao, Technology and Industrial Innovation officer and Mr. Enzo Lucchini, the Vice President of Lombardy Regional Council.
The 5500 square meter facility, was designed in Italy with the most up-to-date engineering standards. This includes environment protection and observance of the latest industrial injury regulations.
