Duplo Extends its High Volume Printer Range With A New A3 Duprinter
Monday 08. December 2008 - Duplo Corporation has extended its digital printing range with the launch of the DP-J450, a new entry-level A3 Duprinter offering high-quality prints and multiple features.
Capable of running at 120 pages per minute, the DP-J450 offers considerable productivity and cost benefits, making it the ideal all-around duplicator fit for text-heavy work as well as image printing. It can be used when producing jobs such as newsletters, corporate stationery, direct mail/flyers and instruction sheets.
The new Duprinter produces prints at 300×600 dpi, derived from a High Definition (HDi) master and a black high density ink, resulting in high quality halftones and solids as well as crisp text.

The versatile DP-J450 offers a number of functions to ensure that any job can be tailored to suit customers specific needs, including an enlargement/reduction, photo/text mode, print darkness mode as well as book shadow erasure function. The LCD user control panel makes it easy to navigate the machine and customise the settings for optimal results. The DP-J450 also offers optional USB 2.0 connectivity, making it fully compatible with PCs and Macs. Users can therefore print directly from a computer or alternatively scan hardcopy originals.
The machine prints one colour at a time but changeover takes less than 30 seconds and with 11 standard colours available, plus a matching service, users can easily print in different colours and even select corporate or brand colours if required.
Featuring a reliable three wheel feeding system which ensures accurate and consistent handling of a wide range of stocks, the Duprinter can print instantly on stocks cards, envelopes, NCR paper and many others. Users are also benefiting from a stacking capacity of 1,000 sheets for longer print runs.
