TriCipher Releases First Zero-Footprint Digital Signature Solution

Wednesday 26. November 2008 - MySignatureBook 1.1 Simplifies and Speeds Digital Signature Exchange

TriCipher, the strong authentication experts, today announced the first digital signature solution to offer a truly zero-footprint client option. MySignatureBook 1.1 is the latest major release of TriCipher’s end-to-end digital signature technology and is the first solution to work without special client configuration or software deployment.

“Client configuration adds costs and restricts the adoption of digital signing solutions,” according to Karen Zelenko, director, product management at TriCipher. “Other solutions require specialized software on the client. Our zero-footprint client option not only cuts costs but makes digital signatures truly available to all users who need them — using nothing more than a web browser.”

MySignatureBook provides an easy-to-use Web interface for gathering multiple digital signatures in a single non-repudiable signed version of a document. In addition to new zero-footprint client support, MySignatureBook delivers:

— Flexible document signing workflow and template-based management that accelerates business processes

— Simultaneous delivery of a flattened PDF version of signed documents for easy distribution, and an additional archived version that includes the live digital content.

— Web services interfaces for easy integration with document management and industry-specific applications

MySignatureBook simplifies business, eliminates geographic barriers, cuts operational costs and advances green initiatives for document-intensive organizations.

“To date, a work force of 5500 in over 20 countries around the world have used MSB digital signature services to sign over 325,000 documents which equates to 3.3 million pieces of paper not printed to be signed,” said George Rathbun, director at Pfizer in Identity and Access Management Engineering. “The new clientless capabilities simplify its use, expanding the reach of MSB in the Pfizer community for additional cost and time savings.”
