Mohawk Is Now Accepting Entries for HP Indigo Printing Competition

Friday 14. November 2008 - Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. is accepting entries for its i-Tonie Awards competition now through December 31, 2008.

Launched this year, the i-Tonie Awards celebrate work produced on any of Mohawk’s i-Tone papers and printed on an HP Indigo press.

Printers, designers and merchants are encouraged to submit entries that exhibit intelligent design, maximization of HP Indigo capabilities and excellence in production. This year’s jury includes industry experts Frank Romano; Bill Garno, Rochester Institute of Technology; Todd Kalagher, Finlay Printing; and Brett Traylor, Thinkso Creative. This distinguished jury of industry professionals will convene to review all entries and select a Best of Show winner and honorable mentions for distinctive work. The printer of the Best of Show winner will receive $1,000 and honorable mention winners will receive $250 each. Award winners will be announced at the Dscoop Annual Conference in February 2009 in Orlando, Florida.

Work including, but not limited to, direct mail, books, letterheads, identity systems and brochures, and produced on Mohawk i-Tone papers between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008, is eligible for entry.
