GBC Commercial Introduces 7580 Laminator to Graph Expo Audience

GBC, an ACCO Brands (NYSE: ABD) business and market leader in the manufacturing and distribution laminating equipment and supplies, will run the new 7580 laminator at Graph Expo 2008 (booth #3801) in Chicago, October 26 – 29. This system, ideal for medium and high volume finishing of book covers, folders, brochures and bags, runs at speeds up to 200 ft. (60 m) per minute. A single operator can control all major functions from the systems user-friendly control panel.
Since its introduction earlier this year at drupa 08 in Dusseldorf, the 7580 laminator has proven itself to be a popular choice among trade laminators and commercials printers. With a state-of-the-art MABEG feeder and a pneumatically controlled separator, the 7580 laminator moves sheets through the finishing process with precision and efficiency. The extra sturdy design of the 7580 includes thick, stabilizing side frames to accommodate the rigors of daily production. In addition, the laminator features a 5.5 horsepower drive to handle the heavy workloads of todays professional finishers.
The 7580 laminator can accommodate sheet sizes from 8.5 x 11 in. (216 x 280 mm) up to 32 x 40 in. (812 x 1020 mm). It runs GBC Commercial high-speed films including Digital Lay-Flat, Lay-Flat, Scuff-Free, Hi-Tac, and AGX, as well as the new High Bonding Strength (HBS) and Enviro Films.
