Aladdin Knowledge Systems (NASDAQ: ALDN), an information security leader specializing in authentication, software DRM and content security, today announced that Dirk Christiansen will join Aladdin’s management team as the new Vice President of Global Marketing. Christiansen brings significant expertise in the security and networking industries, setting global strategy focused on lead generation, branding, and go-to-market programs.
Christiansen joins Aladdin from Sophos, where he served as the vice president of global marketing. In his time there he increased qualified leads and revenue by more than 25 percent through innovative marketing, branding and lead generation strategies. Previously, he served as the senior director of marketing for Trend Micro, driving lead generation, field marketing and vertical market messaging strategies. Christiansen also held senior marketing positions at Intel, ServGate, Novell and Firefox.

Christiansen received his bachelors degree in accounting from Southern Utah University.
